Inspiring Walk for Humanists
Lili's explanations were detail and thorough. She was very passionate about the tour as this was something personal to her ancestral lineage as well. I liked the parts where she would share paragraphs from Anne Frank's diary, especially the last one at the memorial.
Perhaps she was in a hurry though, that sometimes she would sharply decline to respond to questions, saying that the answers would be clear in the next stops. The answers were given as she promised, but I feel she could be nicer when delaying to answer.
I would recommend this to those who value history, humanity, as well as optimistic future. Although we have empathy for the victims, we should not see ourselves as victims. We should not be vengeful because when we are, it's only a matter of time that we become perpetrators.

Walking through Jewish History in Amsterdam
After the disappointment of not being able to visit Ann Frank's house, it was lovely to be part of a walking tour headed by Lisa. Our guide led us to and explained about some historical sites and what happened to the Jewish population in World War 2.
Their suffering is something that most people will find it hard to comprehend that mankind can inflict atrocities on other people. Men, women and children suffered. the tour ended at the National Jewish Memorial.
I would encourage other visitors to Amsterdam to go a walking tour and learn about what happened in the war.
