High expectations left disappointed
So much potential with such beautiful area but so little commentary to learn as we drove. Trip felt like just our shuttle bus. Very unclear directions as 90%+ missed first wine olive oil cheese stop. Told on bus there would be this but when we arrived told with sign to go on own and meet back at indicated time. So people left thinking things changed. Tour guide did not call people to stop. Did not tell us she was waiting for a few slower people. We questioned her later and said she was clear and her job so hard. Later group questioned her and she said the same and the group had to calm her down. Maybe language issue on her part and how to be clear. We're not told highlights to see in each town. Just left on our own. Had been so excited about this tour but very disappointed. Glad we saw area but could have been dramatically better.

Exquisite tour of Val d’Orcia
Giulio made this tour an adventure to remember. We tasted the fruits of Tuscany and breathed her air. He managed speaking in multiple languages to our group but stil made my wife and I feel as if he was our personal guide. His knowledge of the history and period added to the experience and enabled us to truly enjoy the art, architecture, wine, food and the culture of the region. Grazie
